Khona lapho uMnguni Omnyama uqhubeke wathi: “Okudumazile ngalokhu wukwazi ukuthi abasibophela amanqina enyathi ngabakwethu. Futhi kuba buhlungu kakhulu ukuthi abakwenzayo kubukeka kwedlulele kunalokho okwabe kwenziwa ngabafo ( amaKoloni nohulumeni wobandlululo) esabe samukela ukuthi abakwenza kithi yingoba sisempini yombangazwe. Umbuzo uthi sibangani nabakwethu, yini le uZulu ayenze kwabakwethu ukuze babe nonya olungaka? Mina qobo ngenzeni okungenza bafune ukujezisa izingane zami, uZulu ngokuthi bagwamande ifa lawo mina engiwumvikeli walo?” kubuza Omnyama.

Waqhuba wathi: “Zulu esabe sikukhuluma noMengameli Wezwe emhlanganweni kwakungemfihlo. Kulo mhlangano ngakubalula kuye njengoba namanje ngisasho ukuthi idemokhrasi ifike nenkululeko kanti kokunye ifike yathatha lokho obekukhona. Njengengohleli eSihlalweni sikaZulu kuningi okuthathiwe kimi nesizwe sikababa kunalokho esikuzuzile. Kokuhle esikuzuzile ngingabala ubuzwe obufanayo kithi sonke, inkululeko kwezombusazwe, ilungelo lenkululeko ngokwenkolo, ngokwemibono kanye namanye amalungelo. Kanti lapho sikhuluma ngokwephucwa ngibala amandla oBukhosi, umhlaba wesizwe namagugu ambiwa phansi. Ngakujabulela ukufika kukaMengameli nokwathi ngenxa yezimo zansukuzonke kithi sobabili sagcina sivumelene ngokuthi sizohlela usuku nesikhathi okwanele namathimba ethu ukudingida lolu daba kabanzi.

Ngakolwami uhlangothi lolu daba selusinda kakhulu futhi luyaphuthuma ngoba sesize salubeka phambi kwabantu.
