Ukuphathwa ngamazwe asentshonalanga sekusenze sakholwa ukuthi asilutho, angeke sazimela njengezwekazi i-Afrika futhi siyizehluleki. Mhlawumbe baqinisile futhi mhlawumbe basho imbudane. Okusalayo angeke sazi ngaphandle kokuthi sizame. Asibe uguquko esifuna ukulubona, thina ma-Afrika ake siqhamuke nezixazululo zezinkinga esibhekene nazo. Kukhona labo abake bathande ukuyithandabuza lena ethi izixazululo zezinkinga zethu zoza nathi. Impendulo esike sithande ukubanika yona, ukubabuza sithi: abanjani okumele banikwe amathuba kanye namandla okuthi bazixazululele izinkinga zabo? Abanjani okumele batshelwe ukuthi bazixazulule kanjani izinkinga zabo? Namuhla nje sikhuluma izwekazi i-Europe libhekeni nezinkinga ezinkulu kwezomnnotho, kodwa akekho othi eziphathimandleni zakhona abangazami ngendlela ababona ngayo bakhululekile ukuthi benze ngokwentando yabo ukuthola izixazululo kwababhekene nakho. Noma ngabe abanye bethu mhlawumbe bobebengasawadli anhlamvana ngonyaka wezi-2063, kodwa imisebenzi esiyenzayo namhlanje imivuzo yayo isiyovunwa yizizukulwane!

    Akekho owayecabanga ukuthi ubukoloni buyoke bunqontshwe kodwa bheka kwenzenkani! Leli themba lidalwa ulwazi esinalo singama-Afrika ukuthi le mpi esiyilwayo yokuthi kube nokuthula, noxolo, nenkazimulo ezwenikazi lethu, ngoba obabamkhulu bayilimile indima yabo, isisekelo solwazi sizinzile. Isisekelo esabekwa abaholi abafana neNdlokukazi u-Anna Nzinga wase-Angola kanye neNkosi uNgungunyane waseMozambique ngobuqhawe bona bakhetha ukufa kunokuba bavumele abezizwe ukuthi bashayelele izikhonkwane emazweni ababewahola ngaleso sikhathi. Isisekelo esabekwa uThomas Sankara waseBurkina Faso, uPatrice Lumumba waseCongo, uToussaint Louverture waseHaiti noSteven Bantu Biko wakuleli abakwazi ukuthi bathathe ababekufundisiwe, bakuguqule ukuze kusebenzele inkululeko yomuntu onsundu. Isisekelo esabekwa amaqhawe amakhulu afana noMvundlane owavusa umsinga ebuthweni leNkosi uCetshwayo, empini yaseSandlwane, okwathi uma ibutho lihlakazeka ngenxa yombambayi bamaNgisi, wasukuma wathi: “Akashongo njalo okaNdaba”, yanqontshwa impi!
